Queer Referat

The Queer-Referat is a student space run by queer students for queer students and non-students. For us, "queer" means that identities are dynamic, fluid, and provisional. They are snapshots in time and can change. The Queer Office is an open space for all sexual orientations, preferences, and identities.

We offer everyone, regardless of their romantic, sexual, and/or gender identity, a judgment-free space for self-expression. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable here without fear of discrimination.

We host events several times a week, and newcomers are always welcome.

You can find our planned events under Events. We try to update the website regularly, but the most up-to-date information, including cancellations, etc., can be found in our WhatsApp and/or Signal info group.

We are a semi-autonomous department of the AStA (General Student Committee) at the University of Hamburg, and you can find us in the AStA building on the UHH main campus (Von-Melle-Park 5, 20146 Hamburg, Room 0039).
