it's time to fasten your wigs again - the Tuntenshow is back!

The politically scandalous, sexually outspoken and wonderfully over-the-top Tuntenshow - back on our campus!
Tuntentum has a long history in Hamburg. A Tunte can be many things! But above all it is one thing: a break with the familiar, a desire for the rancid, against the normative, a play against social expectations. A Tunte is wonderfully out of place - and for that very reason in exactly the right place.
The term "Tunte" has been self-confidently appropriated, charged with historical and political meaning and transformed into a proud self-designation. The queer show is as diverse as queerness itself: political, artistic, subversive, sensual - a celebration of queer forms of expression. Whether singing, poetry slam, expressive dance, acting, comedy or the performative act of pouring champagne - everything is possible, everything is art, everything is protest 💅🏾
At a time when hostility towards queer people is growing louder and making it more difficult for marginalized groups to live freely, spaces like these are essential. Spaces where queer life is not only visible, but celebrated loudly, proudly and unflinchingly. Spaces where queer people meet, network and form alliances ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻
With the Tuntenshow, we want to create a place where queer art can be experienced and queer conviviality can be enjoyed - and yes, where people can also party. Because between all the political battles we fight every day, we also need moments of hedonism, time out, queer escapism 🧚🏼♀️
